Deaf poet Paul Scott's signed poem (in British Sign Language) "Turkey" tells of a young turkey that worries when it sees the first snowflake of winter. It was performed in February 2010 at the Bristol
Sign Poetry Festival 2010, at the Bristol Centre for Deaf People.

The poems in this channel are part of the collection made as the University of Bristol Sign Language Poetry Anthology with the aim to study metaphor in sign language poetry. The poem is discussed in the book Introducing sign language literature folklore and creativity, by Rachel Sutton-Spence and Michiko Kaneko, published by Palgrave press.
