Deaf poets John Wilson, Paul Scott, Richard Carter and Johanna Mesch's signed poem (in British Sign Language) "Haiku Quartets" includes three haiku quartets of Day, Seasons and Life . It was performed at the first BSL Haiku festival at the University of Bristol in 2006.
