I’ve been rooting for Brooks to make us a shoe that feels as good as Des Linden looked when she won the 2018 Boston Marathon in the Hyperion Elite prototype. But every year, it’s been a bit of a disappointment. But this year, with a brand new design and a full Peba midsole, could this finally be the year that Brooks has a legit race day option? It’s time to lace up the Hyperion Elite 5 and take it for a run.
