My brother in law kept telling me that you could run to the lighthouse at low tide, but every time I’ve been to the beach, there were boats in the water and it didn’t seem possible. But one morning, the tide was supposed to be particularly low right around the time for my morning run. So I thought I’d make a run for it literally. (And my daughter said she wanted to come too)
I had brought the Salomon Aero Blaze 3 as the daily trainer for my family trip to visit my sister. It turned out to be a pretty good choice for this run (which was mostly on sea shells). But it also worked well for me on other runs during the week. The midsole is a beaded optiFOAM which is very responsive but not firm. It’s feels speedy and light, but there’s still a pleasant amount of cushion. It’s like a less aggressive Endorphin Speed.
