Brookland can trace its flying heritage back well over a hundred years and was Britain's (and posable Europe's) largest aircraft manufacturing centre. So although most people today associate its past with Motor Sport, its aviation past also deserves to be remembered and that is what the many fly-ins at Brooklands commemorate.
This one on the 16th of October 2022 was the first in many years to be held on the site of the original 1951 Vickers built over a kilometre long runway. now sliced into two parts and adapted for vehicles use by Mercedes-Benz World.
