The slightly longer story: back in 2006, as some of you may remember, I created and produced the Broken Heart Robot art toy, and shortly after, his sidekick, Kricky the Alien Frog. Back then, I had met with Cartoon Network who wanted to turn my characters into an Animated Series. Unfortunately, they had such a narrow-minded view of what they wanted to do with it, I didn't sign the deal. A couple of years later, I met with Disney TV (four times!) and again, they had such a narrow-minded view of what they wanted to do with my character, I just couldn't let it happen.
(On a side note, because of that, I pitched them another brilliant idea in which they said "we'll think about it" and seven years after my writer's guild registration ran out, they made the ZOMBIE movie and it's subsequent three sequels! They literally stole my idea without giving me credit.)
So I was almost an Executive Producer of my own Animated TV Series, but now, I'm just waiting for some big investor or Producer (or to win the lottery) so I could do this the way it should be done!
