Game play footage from another game build of mine, this time using help from Anthropic's Claude Sonnet ai. This one took almost the whole day to get it to where I liked it (it was a pain in the butt!) I call it "CYBER:HUNT" and it is reminiscent of my favorite vector-based Battlezone arcade game from 1980, but more colorful.
Sadly, when I got to the build as a desktop app part, once built, the app crashes immediately on launch, so I can only start the game direct from the Terminal (as shown in the video.)
Also, the graphics and music are all primitive due to the convoluted process I am using: First, I'm having the game made as a self-contained html file, so everything can run in a web browser. Then, I'm having to use a framework like Electron within Visual Studio Code to convert that html file into a stand-alone desktop app. But it's still essentially just a basic html file running all of this...
