๐๐ข๐๐ ๐๐น๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ ๐ต๐ญ๐ญ was a scheduled international passenger flight from San Francisco to Hong Kong with intermediate stops in Honolulu and Tokyo. The flight was being operated by a Boeing 707 (Reg. G-APFE) ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฐ๐ต ๐ฑ, ๐ญ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฒ.
The flight was expected to arrive at Haneda at 16:45 on March 4. However, due to poor meteorological conditions at Haneda and because the PAR of the GCA was out of service, it diverted to Fukuoka and landed there at 18:00. After staying overnight at Fukuoka, Flight 911 left for Tokyo at 11:25 and landed there at 12:43. The plane was prepared for the next leg to Hong Kong. At 13:42 the crew contacted ATC requesting permission to start the engines and clearance for a VMC climb via Fuji-Rebel-Kushimoto. The plane left the ramp at 13:50. It was instructed to make "a right turn after take off", and departed Haneda at 13:58.
After takeoff the plane flew over Gotemba City on a heading of approximately 298ยฐ at an altitude of approximately 4,900 m and indicated airspeed of 320-370 knots. The plane, trailing white vapor, then suddenly lost altitude over the Takigahara area, and parts of the plane began to break away over Tsuchiyadai and Ichirimatsu. Finally over Tarobo at an altitude of approx. 2,000 m, the forward fuselage broke away. The mid-aft fuselage together with the wing, making a slow flat spin to the right, crashed into a forest at the foot of Mount Fuji. The forward fuselage crashed into the forest approx. 300 m to the west of the above site and caught fire.

On ๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น ๐ญ, ๐ญ๐ต๐ณ๐ฌ, a Royal Air Maroc Sud Aviation SE-210 Caravelle (Reg. CN-CCV) was operating a scheduled international passenger flight from Agadir to Paris with an intermediate stop in Casablanca.
On final approach to Casablanca, the crew encountered unclear technical problems when the plane lost height and crashed 2 km short of runway 35 threshold. The plane was destroyed and 61 people aboard were killed while 21 others were injured.

It is believed that the final approach was continued below the glide as a result of various problems. During the descent, the fire alarm connected to the right engine came on in the cockpit and the flight engineer immediately switched all the power of the hydraulic pumps on the engine that the captain was shutting down, which blocked the transfer actions until the power supply on the left engine would be reactivated. At impact, controls started to function again but it was too late for the pilot-in-command to expect recovery.")
