Pasco County resident Kathy Dunn shares her heartfelt appreciation for the support she received from Team Rubicon following the devastation of Hurricane Helene.
After the hurricane destroyed her home and those of her neighbors, Kathy found herself homeless and in dire need of assistance. An old friend from Ohio, with whom she had done dog rescue work, was on the ground in Florida with Team Rubicon. Upon learning of Kathy’s situation, her friend connected her with the team.
Team Rubicon volunteers arrived to help Kathy gut her house and clear out the damage, providing much-needed support during a challenging time. Their efforts didn’t stop there—they also assisted her elderly neighbors who needed help. With 40 Greyshirts in the area, all hands were on deck to aid the community.
Kathy expresses deep gratitude for the team’s dedication and compassion, noting how awesome they have been in making a difference in her life and the lives of those around her.
