On this Bolens 14 horse Vanguard V twin from Briggs and Stratton I was needing to replace the starter. when I was looking up the starters there seem to be quite a few numbers that have been superseded and the starter that I have the link up above in the
description here is the one that has been superseded to that covers quite a few different years and different applications. I wanted to point out the boat configuration that held the starter on originally which I show has a clearance problem with a normal socket to remove the bolts however the star head or Torx head bolt that I show in the video is a good replacement if you have access to them and makes the installation a lot easier.
