ontinuing its long-standing reputation for uncovering new talent, Hot Creations welcomes Bridvog to the label for the first time with his two-track ‘Activated’ EP. Based in Dubai, he has been producing and releasing music under various aliases for several years, experimenting with synthesizers and refining a sound that he is now fully aligned with. Following his debut on Glasgow Underground alongside Kevin McKay, he now becomes the latest name to be spotlighted by Jamie Jones’ ever-attuned A&R, reinforcing the label’s role as a platform for fresh voices shaping the modern house landscape.
“The inspiration for these tracks came during one of my club performances. After seeing a strong reaction from the dancefloor, I decided to create something that added character through the sound of legendary synthesizers. Jamie messaged me to say they were a good fit for Hot Creations, and from that moment on, they meant a great deal to me. Most importantly, they confirmed that I’m moving in the right direction.” - Bridvog.
The title track ‘Activated’ sets the tone with a driving, high-energy groove built around tight percussion, rolling low-end, and hooky lead vocals, while ‘Beacon Of Light’ keeps the energy high with shuffling drums and a bumping bassline, offering two cuts made for peak-time play. The two-tracker adds to Bridvog’s young catalogue, while Hot Creations once again demonstrates its ability to identify talent, introducing another new name to the global conversation while staying true to the label’s club-driven ethos.
