"This was an entirely unique artistic experience. Being surrounded by In Exaltation of Flowers by Edward Steichen was quite intense: from a larger perspective, we found ourselves wrapped in massive panels saturated with beauty and color, and then zooming in on the small details of each character, we found humor, darkness and breadth. Our improvisation sought to mirror the relationship between the big picture and the minutia, as well as the elegant contrast between shadow and light.
The process was both inspiring and fun, and the resulting film is completely different from any of our other creative work. We are grateful to be a part of this series, and send big thanks to the talented, engaged, and kind crew we worked with."
