Back in February of 2024, when Hamilton’s Breezeway Blend Rum first launched, we challenged the Breezetonians to create the ultimate cocktail using this new rum. From hundreds of ideas, to more than thirty recipes, to months of live competitions on this channel, the search for the best of the best has been a wild tiki fueled ride.
Now, after three rounds of hard shaking competition, the three top home bartenders' cocktails have returned to the Breezeway for one final showdown.
Tonight, a single cocktail will rise above the rest.
Tonight, one talented mixologist will earn the title of Grand Champion and take home the vintage Breezeway trophy.

If you ordered this cocktail at Don the Beachcomber in the 1940s, would you order it again? Lets see if I would.
To make the Missionarys Downfall:
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1/2 oz peach liqueur
I oz honey mix
I oz light rum
1/4 cup diced fresh pineapple
1/4 cup fresh mint leaves, tightly packed
3/4 cup crushed ice
Put everything in a blender. Blend at high speed for 15-20 seconds. Pour into a footed pilsner glass or into two coupes. Garnish with the tip of a mint sprig, placed in center of drink.

To make the Big Bamboo:
½ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz orange juice
½ oz grapefruit juice
½ oz passion fruit syrup
½ oz dark jamaican rum
I oz gold Cuban rum or Bacardi 8
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Put everything in a blender and blend at high speed for exactly 5 seconds. Pour into a bamboo mug or tall glass.
