We have finally arrived in the beautiful Italian Dolomites! And let's just say our first hiking adventure did not disappoint. The Dolomites is known for its incredible via ferrata, or "iron way", which are fixed cable routes that take hikers along some of the most incredible, vertical rock faces towering over the valleys below. Let's just say these routes are NOT for those with a fear of heights. For our first via ferrata of the trip, we hiked up Piccolo Cir, which is one of the most famous via ferrata routes in the entire Dolomite area. Once you see the views from the ascent and from the summit, we think you'll know why!
