Classic Priest track.
Not a hard one to play but it's one the band I'm in play so just a quick easy one to knock up while I'm learning other songs. Think everything was first take.
Never really listened to Priest before the other guitarist in the band suggested this song to do.
Sacrilege really considering their impact on subsequent metal acts who were influenced by them and who I listen to a lot.
Halford has quite the scream on him which i cannot emulate by any means (hence i didn't do 'Painkiller')
When my band play live the other guitarist & I trade solos in the bridge bit so this was mostly improvised here (as is probably evident).
Played in Eb as that's what we play in so didn't change the tuning.
