The jury is now deliberating in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial.

In closing arguments this morning, the defense argued Clancy was failed by her mental health care, overmedicated and suffering from postpartum psychosis that left her unable to be held criminally responsible for the deaths of her three children. Prosecutors countered that her actions were deliberate and planned, arguing that despite her mental illness, she knew what she was doing was wrong.
Jurors can consider first-degree murder, second-degree murder or involuntary manslaughter — or find Clancy not guilty by reason of lack of criminal responsibility.
