Bram Stoker's Dracula for some is one of those films that define the concept of "comfort movie", a movie one has watched a thousand times, and can still rewatch, always bringing a certain nostalgic cozy feeling.The same goes to the 16-bit games based upon it, at least some of them (for me it's MD/SNES and Sega CD). Comfort games. This is why we still deal with retro games. Emotional comfort brought by nostalgia.

Both the MD and the SNES version received fairly average at best reviews when they came out, but looking back and replaying them, they weren't so bad, especially compared to the standard movie tie-in games of the era, just very frustrating, with constantly respawning enemies in the wrong places. Visually they resembled an older Amiga classic, Leander (ported on the MD as Galahad) and the music was pretty good.

Revisiting them ten years after the previous vid (youtube.com/watch?v=yXNwmSIJLl8) was a nostalgia trip.
