A full singe-player playthrough of version 4.7 with Batman.
This is still a Work in Progress game

A lot of Batman's gameplay is based on Batman Returns for SNES (in earlier versions, the sprite itself was a modified BR one), with some Death and Return of Superman. Even though this is a MK fan-game and Batman is just a "guest" character, his gameplay is so good it makes it my favourite 2D fan-game with Batman, and it could be the basis for a Batman-themed OpenBOR mod. Some urban levels in the game, downtown and dark alleys, could very well be Gotham City.

What this version is missing is the Batmobile fatality from the previous one I've played (Version 3.0)

This mod, alongside Avengers: United Battle Force, is one of the best OpenBOR mods IMO, it's obvious a lot of work went into it, and is very fun to play.

The characters have a plethora of moves, playing with each one feels different, as a 2D brawler, MK The Chosen One is among the very best.

There's quite a few mods with very good visuals, but gameplay which is rather wanting, Avengers and MK: The Chosen One are almost perfect as they are and what they really need is a proper "final level" and ending sequence.
