Herwig Simons Gallery, located near the prestigious Grand Sablon in Brussels, is reputed for its eclectic and individual approach to collecting. Bringing together rare and beautiful works of art of different periods and styles, the gallery offers a comprehensive feeling for cross-collecting. Simons' participation in the BRAFA in the Galleries event is marked by a 19th century pair of torchères, a bronze sculpture of an Arab riding a camel by Eugenio Maccagnani (1852-1930) and a Neo-Baroque ornamental mask as well as contemporary paintings.
BRAFA in the Galleries (27 - 31 January 2021) is the newly created alternative to the BRAFA Art Fair at Tour & Taxis, Brussels, which has been postponed to January 2022. Our exhibitors will welcome you in their galleries, where they will present the objects and artworks selected for BRAFA 2021 in the best possible conditions. In total, 126 art dealers spread across 13 countries and 37 cities look forward to sharing their passion for the beautiful, the rare, the precious and the historical in a warm, friendly atmosphere, in line with the rules in place in their area.
