Meeting artists such as Gudmundur Erró, Arman, Soto, Carlos Cruz Diez, and Robert Combas inspired Alexis Lartigue to become involved in the art market and share his taste and passion for high quality artworks. Hence, since 2006 Alexis Lartigue Fine Art proposes an eclectic selection of modern and contemporary works to international collectors and art lovers. The gallery specialises in the masters of abstraction, cubism and narrative figuration.
Their presentation for BRAFA in the Galleries is marked by the impressive Hans Hartung (1904-1989) painting T1967-H15 which reveals the zigzag pattern of lightning bolts, giving a sense of speed of the line. Also in the spotlights is a wonderfully free work by lyrical abstract painter Georges Mathieu (1921-2012).
BRAFA in the Galleries (27 - 31 January 2021) is the newly created alternative to the BRAFA Art Fair at Tour & Taxis, Brussels, which has been postponed to January 2022. Our exhibitors will welcome you in their galleries, where they will present the objects and artworks selected for BRAFA 2021 in the best possible conditions. In total, 129 art dealers spread across 14 countries and 38 cities look forward to sharing their passion for the beautiful, the rare, the precious and the historical in a warm, friendly atmosphere, in line with the rules in place in their area.
