Rare video of British Railways 2-8-0 Class 04/1 number 63601 hauling a breakdown train on the northern section of the Great Central Railway in July 2009. 63601 was originally built by the GCR in 1912. The majority of the scenes were filmed at the impressive viaduct just north of Loughborough.
The locomotive hasn't steamed since 2012 and is currently under overhaul. The northern section of the railway is currently closed due to safety issues concerning some of the bridges.
