Alright, the point of this video is to be cringy. Embrace it, and you will enjoy it. Here's the far superior predecessor to this video

If this video can obtain a substantial amount of views, another channel will be created for content like it. I feel bad for my other videos because they have to co-mingle with this dumpster fire.

Hey there guys,
As Alaska prepares for the retirement of their Q400s, theyve started sending us E jets. The Q400 has been the undeniable backbone of BLI for decades, and I dread the last day of regular service. Because of this fleet streamlining, we will likely be seeing a reduction in daily BLI-SEA flights. While we used to get 8 to 10 daily Q arrivals and departures from before sunrise to after sunset, jet service will be closer to 6-8 daily operations. On top of this, Southwest (our 2nd of 3 major airlines here) announced seasonal service to Denver starting in April. These will only occur on Saturdays. This happens at the reduction of 1 daily flight to Oakland, which makes 1 daily to LAS and OAK and 1 Saturday flight to DEN. A reopening Canadian border was not the rush of traffic BLI expected, seen by these streamlining flights. Over a year later, Im back with some model reviews. I took an afternoon and made about 20 videos. Theyll all be up in the next week or so. For the past 6 months, Ive been restoring a 1970 Datsun Roadster. It has been sitting outside with a hole in a piston and without a head for over 20 years. I rebuilt and installed a new engine and its now driving and fully operational, including lights and instruments. In the future, I will compile media Ive captured and what Ive learned into 4 or 5 15 minute videos, just as a resource to anyone else restoring a vintage Japanese car. But for now, enjoy the models! As the locals may know, the Ferndale Grain plant is in the process of being torn down. This has been a staple of our community for nearly a century, so Im being sure to do my part in documenting the life that happens around it during its final moments. This was filmed earlier this afternoon, 8/20/25, and just 2 days earlier the same lash-up was heading north through here.
Although I havent been doing much sitting on my butt, a lot of my footage sure has. My dad and I even made it down to Texas and Oklahoma to catch the Big Boy on its midwestern tour last October. Im saying this here as a bit of a personal motivator to get the drone, ground, and chase footage edited together. Since then, Ive moved to Arizona and back, so now I have no excuse to not get my content online like the good ol days. Enjoy!
