As the locals may know, the Ferndale Grain plant is in the process of being torn down. This has been a staple of our community for nearly a century, so I'm being sure to do my part in documenting the life that happens around it during it's final moments. This was filmed earlier this afternoon, 8/20/25, and just 2 days earlier the same lash-up was heading north through here.
Although I haven't been doing much sitting on my butt, a lot of my footage sure has. My dad and I even made it down to Texas and Oklahoma to catch the Big Boy on its midwestern tour last October. I'm saying this here as a bit of a personal motivator to get the drone, ground, and chase footage edited together. Since then, I've moved to Arizona and back, so now I have no excuse to not get my content online like the good ol days. Enjoy!
