The subtitle (and the actual point) of this video is "winners and losers in the new Rust BP system." I have seen a lot of comments, both extremely positive and extremely negative about the new BP changes. I want to try to provide some big picture analysis of what types of players benefit from the changes and which types of players lose out. There's always going to be a trade off because everyone plays differently. My argument is that when we discuss the new changes we should try to figure out which play styles are helped by the changes and which are hurt, and taking all of that into consideration try to decide which changes are best for the game and community.

I hopped on Rustafied Small for some solo primitive plays, but it seemed like every time I left my base for a roam, the group next door sniped me with AKs from their roof. Since two could play that game, I built a roof for my own base, and crafted a scope for my semi-rifle and paid them back. A few hours later, a five man (or more) clan raided my neighbors and then the fun began.
I roof camped the raiders until my semi-rifle broke (how could I resist?), and then sniped them with my revolver before taking it to the ground with revolver, crossbow (how is that guy still alive after 5 crossbow hits?) and mace. Later in the day, as the sun set, the heli arrived to deliver fire and broken dreams from the sky.")
