My argument in this video is that Rust's alpha state-- the constant state of the game changing, is a lot of what makes the game fun and a lot of what keeps many veteran players like myself playing.
Do we really want a future for Rust with no weekly dev blogs? Do we really want Rust to be locked into one finished product? How long before Rust gets stale when it's just the same thing every week?

![When You Hate Your Neighbors, but They Get Raided and So You Have to Roof Camp the Raiders [Rust]
I hopped on Rustafied Small for some solo primitive plays, but it seemed like every time I left my base for a roam, the group next door sniped me with AKs from their roof. Since two could play that game, I built a roof for my own base, and crafted a scope for my semi-rifle and paid them back. A few hours later, a five man (or more) clan raided my neighbors and then the fun began.
I roof camped the raiders until my semi-rifle broke (how could I resist?), and then sniped them with my revolver before taking it to the ground with revolver, crossbow (how is that guy still alive after 5 crossbow hits?) and mace. Later in the day, as the sun set, the heli arrived to deliver fire and broken dreams from the sky.
