There are two bottle labelling demo's done in this video. The first is in stand alone mode. In this case the labels have either been printed at an offest printer or pre-printed on an Epson C7500.

In the 2nd demo the BenchMAX is operating fully integrated with the Epson C7500 printer. When fully integrated a bottle labelling machine operator can continuously pack and pallet without ever having to stop to change label rolls. The continuous process even allows the operator to changes the brand or type of beer, or the size of the bottle, without pausing to reset the labelling machine or the printer. Simply switch the artwork on the PC and the Epson printer will print the new label and the operator can seamlessly continue to pack a different pallet (including style, brand or bottle size) for delivery.

This fully integrated configuration maximises efficiency in the production line by.

1. Allowing manufacturer's to update use by dates on labels at the time of printing.

2. There are no pauses in the label and packing process, it becomes truly continuous. Just change the file on the PC rather than the roll. Printer cartridges can even be changed without a pause in the packing process as labels batch ahead of the label applicator allowing printer maintenance to happen while the operator continues to label, pack and pallet!

3. The set up process for pre printed rolls is eliminated. Most labeling machines require about 2.2 meters of labels to be wasted as the machine is calibrated for accurate positioning and set up for each new roll, tabel type or bottle type. In the case of beer labels, that’s about 24 wasted labels every roll.

4. The capacity to custom print in house means small special event labelling can be offered – TRBC does this for weddings, bucks nights, corporate special events, Christmas gifts for businesses and charity labelling.
