In this short video you will see the moment that both cardinal parents feed the baby chicks at the same time. The baby bird chicks are less than a day old in this footage. Usually only one parent feeds the chicks so it was interesting to see both of them at the nest at the same time. They have to really chew up the food for these chicks to be able to eat it. These baby cardinal chicks are astonishingly small. They are about the width of your index finger!
