Let’s take a look around Borovets in Bulgaria, a quaint little down full of bars and shops, hotels such as the Rila Hotel and the Samokov, along with some not bad ski slopes (if your a beginner or intermediate).
For this walkthrough we are heading up into the main Borovets area outside of the Rila Hotel which is the main hotel in Borovets, Bulgaria.
If you’re looking for a cheap ski trip then Borovets is worth the visit. I come here each year for a lads 4 night trip away. It’s fun, and the slopes aren’t to bad either.
If you’re looking for more of a ski holiday then and going for a week or more, if you’ve got the money, don’t spend it on the Rila Hotel, I would recommend going somewhere with a bigger ski area. Borovets is fun, however it can be quite small.
