And then there were two (soon to be three)! I wasn't looking forward to fighting Dexiduous on OP8, but the first time I fought him, I almost won. I knew I could beat him the next time I fought him, and sure enough, I gave him the Axe on just the second try! There were some really close moments near the end of the video, but I made it.
Luckily, this fight gives you room to move, which is good because there were a few times when I ran out of ammo for my Pimpernel. I had to fight enemies and loot chests just to get that precious sniper ammo. Thank goodness he doesn't pull a Vermi and despawn!
Since Dexi's orbs have a MASSIVE damage radius, I took shelter underneath the Lodge. I just used my Fire Pimpernel to attack his crit spots. It took a while, but it worked. I tried other strategies like throwing Meteor Showers and shooting the D.P.U.H., but they weren't nearly as effective.
My turret wasn't very effective for this fight, but it DID land a HUGE hit to Dexi. I literally blinked and saw that the turret had taken out half his health (it probably destroyed one of his biggest crit spots). That was awesome to see!
