Border Down (2003) by G.Rev. Stage 3 practise (Red Border) played by me on NullDC 1.0.3 emulator.
The emulation of this game seems to be quite much perfect. The quality from the nullAICA sound plugin could be a little better though. Elsemi's AICA plugin gives suberb sound quality but removes effect sounds, leaving only music.
The difference between emulated and DC play seems to be that when playing with the actual hardware you get additional slowdown in explosions. That doesn't really help you or affect the actual playing much though.
I haven't really played this game much yet so it's better to ignore my playing/scoring etc. One problem in stage practise seems to be that I can't change the ship speed for some reason, it works perfectly in non-practise though. If anyone knows better settings for the emulation, especially sound, I'd like to know.
The boss times out.
Also there has been progress lately in getting to get this game playable on MAME. Similiar progress also for ikaruga, karous, radirgy and some others. Don't expect them to play at full speed any time soon though. Also the DC ports of the mentioned games work very well on the nullDC emulator.
