The level part of this stage is short. During the bosses it gets hard when the screen goes blurry and you can't see the missiles well in the end.
A little about gameplay:
You have armor that can take up to couple hits, also you have a shield that you activate by pressing X. Using shield will drain away your power making your attack weaker, you can't fire while using shield either. Also while using shield you're vulnerable purple bullets and physical objects like ships or missiles. To regain power you'll have to stop shooting for a while, it gets tricky with timing later on the game.
