Pretty easy to follow.
Bonnie is jealous of the way Damon is looking at Elena, she tries to take some distance but can't help but be worried about him.. Some day Katherine comes back in town and Bonnie is her chosen victim. Damon has to kill her to protect Bonnie, Damon can't deal with killing Katherine and leaves
