Bonnie is really weirded out by her dreams about Damon and distanced herself from him. Elena tries to understand why Damon is letting her go.
Bonnie is still hunting creatures with Damon but is really cold towards him. Damon has flash of their past together (season 2) and it show that they were closer than Elena and Stephan think.
After saving Damon, she realizes that her feelings are deeper and starts to wonder what happened. Soon they found out, she was under a spell because of her vulnerability after she found her mother.
They look for the witch who did the spell and they win. Later Bonnie is trying to apologize to Damon but he says he is done with her...
***SPOILERS***
In the end, Elena makes him realize he is going to lose her for good if he doesn't go after her. He finds her with another man but the other one is fast forgotten once Damon talks to Bonnie
