Super Mario Bros. 2 is a platform game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game was first released in North America in October 1988, and in the PAL region the following year. It has been remade or re-released for several video game consoles.
The game is the product of a circle of influences following the breakthrough success of Super Mario Bros. (1985). The sequel prototype is based on two cooperative players lifting and throwing each other, lifting and stacking objects, and scrolling the screen upward — a design too complex for the Famicom hardware and with dissatisfying gameplay. This ambitious concept was postponed in favor of a quicker upgrade to the original Super Mario Bros. engine, released in Japan as the notoriously challenging Super Mario Bros. 2. The Mario team resumed development of the prototype for another interim game, Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic (1987). Instead of Mario graphics, this advergame was branded with the characters and themes of Fuji Television's technology expo called Yume Kōjō '87 (lit. "Dream Factory"). Nintendo of America decided Japan's Super Mario Bros. 2 had gameplay too frustratingly difficult and too similar to Super Mario Bros. to be worth releasing into the recently crashed American market. Therefore, finally delivering upon the inspiration of the original prototype and creating a second official sequel, Nintendo cosmetically modified Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic to become the international release of Super Mario Bros. 2 (1988).
A commercial success, the international Super Mario Bros. 2 was re-released in Japan for the Famicom as Super Mario USA (1992), as part of the Super Mario All-Stars (1993) collection for the Super NES (including the Japanese Super Mario Bros. 2 as The Lost Levels), and as Super Mario Advance (2001) for the Game Boy Advance.

WhimsyShrimps Game Description
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker is the MGS game that takes place between Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (or Portable Ops...whatever) and Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes/Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. I know. Confusing, right? Well, sucks to be you, I guess.
Anyways, Snake (the naked one who isnt actually naked) goes to Puerto Rico to get some pictures of birds without a photo lens cuz hes a super pro at this shit.
Why does Naked but-no-actually Naked Snake wear a military uniform and carry around weapons including multiple RPGs? Well, the birds in Puerto Rico can get really feisty sometimes, and since Snake never bothered to learn how to diplomacy as well as aiming with the eye that actually works, he blows up the local Purto Rican wildlife in order to calm the birds down...with an RPG.
For some reason, the EPA has gone into Puerto Rico in order to stop Snake and his boner for murder when it comes to nature. Snake does not take kindly to the EPA ruining his photography session, so he goes on to create his own military, MSF, in order to take on the EPA and their technologically-advanced AI-controlled war machines.
Actual Game Description
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker[a] is an action-adventure stealth video game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami for the PlayStation Portable in 2010.[2] It is the seventh Metal Gear game written, directed, and designed by Hideo Kojima, as well as the second action-based Metal Gear title made specifically for the PSP, following Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops,[b][3] although it was later released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection in North America and Europe and as a stand-alone retail release in Japan. This is the first title in the series to alter the traditional tagline Tactical Espionage Action to Tactical Espionage Operations, referring to the base building and mission mechanics of the game.
Set in 1974 in Costa Rica, the game follows the exploits of returning protagonist Snake[c] as he runs the mercenary unit Militaires Sans Frontières (Soldiers Without Borders).[4]
Peace Walker consists of two primary gameplay modes: Mission and Mother Base. Mission are the actual action sequences of the game, where the player must infiltrate an enemy territory or fight a boss, whereas Mother Base is an army management mode similar to the briefing screen in Portable Ops.
In addition to the standard single-player mode, most of the missions can also be played cooperatively through an additional game mode called Co-Ops. Infiltration missions during Co-Ops can be played alongside a second player, while up to four players can participate in battles against enemy vehicles and AI weapons. There are several actions that can take place when two players are next to each other. The snake formation allows two players to synchronize with each other as one player leads the way, also allowing the players to fire on the move. Other co-operative actions include holding up closing doors, performing CPR on fallen comrades, sharing items, and acting as a spotter when a partners vision is obscured.
