There is a barrel near Speed Cola that can be shot with a Chopper Gunner to reveal a shovel. If you are able to destroy the barrel you can pick it up and use it to dig all the graves in the graveyard. The graves can include a variety of rewards like guns, armor, essence, etc. It can also include zombies, spiders, grenades and stuns.
If you are having trouble saving enough salvage up remember that in zombies Silencers increase the drop rate of salvage from zombies. A Chopper Gunner killstreak is 2500 salvage at any of the crafting tables around the map.
