BNSF freight trains, battling steep grades of the Tehachapi Pass, during the Spring of 2026. Running under trackage rights on the Union Pacific, the Mojave Subdivision connects Southern California and the Central Valley, with the Tehachapi Pass being the toughest running section of the line. With grades and curves up to 2.2%, it's easy to see why!
