It's been far too long between videos on the layout, but rest assured, much is going on in the background to help the move to Stirling happen quicker.
The layout has always been about the Bio- Fuel industry , with my favourite freight cars being hoppers and tanks, its an ideal industry to model. To make it even cooler , I have been making Bio-Diesel for the last 25 years, so I thought I would combine a operations session , with the making of a real life batch of fuel !
In Part 1 , we will pick up some Methanol and veggie oil from the grain facility , and take it back to Wellers Hill yard to be put on a manifest train.
In Part 2 it will traverse the layout down to West Birdwood Yard, where it will be delivered by a local to the Bio -Diesel so a batch of fuel can be made.
