Last week, Pacific Whale Foundation’s (PWF) Ecuador Research team encountered the largest mammal in the world, a blue whale! This incredible sighting of the juvenile whale is also the first one recorded in Machalilla National Park, Ecuador and provides critical data on the endangered species we did not know were here.
