"Blue Monday" is widely considered the biggest selling 12" single of all-time. It was remixed and re-released in 1988 and 1995, but this is the original version taken from the 1985 U.S. reissue on Qwest Records.

Recorded using a Pro-Ject Debut Carbon EVO turntable with Acryl-It platter, record clamp and AT VM540ML cart. All records are cleaned on a VPI 16.5 with Adobe Audition CC used for recording and processing with clicks removed manually.

This parody of Bruce Springsteens Born In The U.S.A. came out in 1985 and was based on a real news story according to Cheech Marin. It also references the Randy Newman song I Love L.A. with shoutouts to Soto Street and Brooklyn Avenue which run through East Los Angeles. Brooklyn Avenue was renamed Cedar Chavez Avenue in 1994. There were no remixes or extended versions so this promo 12 single has the LP version.
