A dry day at Blue Island, but the trains featured made it a win.
Train 1: Union Pacific 5106 leads the juice train (Z WASKP) on the CSX Barr Sub.
Train 2: IC 2720 leads a land barge (M 369) from the IHB onto the Elsdon Sub.
Train 3: IAIS 507 blows it's horn for the crossings on the Rock while CN 2293 takes off from an accidental red board at the bridges.
Train 4: IAIS 507 leads an extra manifest west on the Rock.
Train 5: CSXT 5461 and a sweet engine lashup grind the curve at the junction.
Train 6: Sweet horn on CSXT 7801.
Train 7: As soon as the CSX clears, a UP manifest begins. Oh the times to have waiting in traffic...
Train 8: The Chicago Rail Link wyes from the Beverly Sub onto the CRL Road Main.
Train 9: oh shit. Oh shit! OH SHIT! We all dispersed after the longest dry period I've ever seen at the juntion. I wanted to drive around the ghetto to try to find some good photo opps. Eventually I turned around, and heard the horn from the CN. Turned back around on 147'th, gates are down. Any freight on this line is a good catch, even though lately it is a rather common theme. Fortunately the train had to stop at the junction through Blue Island, so I had enough time to take Kedzie up to 94'th in Ever Green Park, and got a solid video of it there.
