This June, we are broadening our celebration of James Joyce and Ulysses to “Bloomsday and Beyond: Celebrating Ireland, Island of Writers” .
From epic tales of early mythology to modern-day Booker Prize winners, our small island has produced a remarkable wealth of storytellers who have helped to shape, and sometimes shake, the literary world.
We hope you enjoy these tributes to Irish writers past and present. And that, wherever you are, you accept our 2025 challenge to discover an Irish writer this #Bloomsday.
