The Embassy of Ireland in India commissioned this four-part documentary series which explores the long-standing and multifaceted relationship between Ireland and India.

The first episode explores Ireland’s unique position as both a colonised nation and a participant in the colonial project in India.

Through stories of Irish doctors, nuns, and missionaries, it examines the lasting human connections that shaped Indian communities and left a significant legacy in healthcare, education, and social service.
