I wrote the first two strains of this in 2009, and the third strain maybe that year or the next. After another year or two I filled out the third strain for its repeat, but then put in a second reprise of the first strain, and didn't like the result. I pretty much abandoned the piece after that, until a month ago when Cameron Lee Simpson presented me with a new fourth strain that he had written. Now this rag is complete, nearly 10 years in the making.
