Good news about Tom's recovery this week. His left hand was placed on an electronic keyboard and he was able to play C-D-E-F-G by himself. This is the first time he has played notes by himself since the accident in August 2016.

Here's a video from a year ago when Brian Holland invited Tom on stage to play a duet of Tom's "Razor Blades" at the beginning of the 2015 West Coast Ragtime Festival.

At the start, Tom playfully challenges Brian by playing it as a waltz, before finally breaking into the barn-burner.
