How To Adjust Training Maxes: prsontheplatform.com/2020/04/03/when-and-how-to-adjust-your-training-max
Continuing with the series on the FREE 15 week PRs Intermediate Program, in my latest YouTube video we get into block 2 (week 6-10). Within this block specificity of exercise selection increases, we start introducing some singles, and we set the framework of progression leading into the final block where either we will test strength or peak into a meet. Just like in the previous video, I break down every aspect of writing this block, with full explanations behind the adjustments in exercise selection, rep scheme, volume, and intensity. I show how I program all 5 weeks, including the differences between primary, secondary, and tertiary and how they compliment each other to maximize performance on that primary day. If you are currently running this program, this video should really help give the breakdown behind the why's of this training block, and help clarify how to execute in the best manner to maximize results. Or if you are just here to learn, hopefully this continued break down helps to give you some informative content to aid in your own programming.
