An exclusive remaster for improved audio clarity, balance and dynamics. “Presence Of The Lord” was written by Eric Clapton and sung by Steve Winwood for their 1969 recording with Blind Faith members Ginger Baker on drums and bassist Ric Grech. The track was part of Blind Faith’s one album as the band broke up soon after their first tour. As a teenage fan of CREAM, getting to see Eric and Ginger perform live at Madison Square Garden, NYC, in July 1969 was a big deal. The venue used a rotating carousel stage in the center of the arena in which the band would rotate around. This meant fans only got a great sound for half of their performance time, but to hear Ginger Baker’s double kick drums thunder throughout the building was an absolute thrill.
