Hello Internet and welcome to a new Blender video. Today we will break down the modeling process using Blender 2.9 and define the individual steps to design a 3D printed car phone holder. On this basis you can follow the process and develop your own similar models.
In this video I show the modeling process of a telephone holder for a dashboard in a car. The goal is to model a 3D print finished model in Blender. This includes precise modeling techniques with defined model dimensions, a good mesh topology and the final correction of any errors for 3D printing.
In combination with the modelling I use certain Blender add-ons, which are included with the software, but have to be activated. These include the 3D Printing Toolbox, Measure-IT and the Loop Tools addon. It is the start of a modelling series, focusing on Blender an 3D printing, using different modelling techniques.
