I made another piano waltz, which was (again) a piano improvisation I played that I orchestrated afterwards. The name 'black & white' is meant to be symbolic -- someone slowly losing his memory or cognitive ability. I tried to use a standard pop song 'structure' (intro, verse, 0,5x chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus x2, outro) but with my usual contemporary/classical composition style. It's a sort of classical, romantic waltz with, like in my song 'Moonlight' & 'Falling Leaves', the orchestral backing of a more modern piece.
I used FL Studio automation (tempo and volume). Piano is Native Instruments' NOIRE Pure. Violin is a sample or vst from Alpine Project (violin long 1). String ensemble are the Cinematic Strings. Cello is the Tina Guo Cello by Cinesamples. I also added atmospheric, ambient plucked piano strings in the background. Mixing & mastering with Valhalla VintageVerb, Fruity Reeverb 2, Soundgoodizer, iZotope Ozone 6 & oeksound soothe2.
