Relaxing song I made for piano, violin and string ensemble in FL Studio 20. Video format inspired by @AZALI00013.
I made slow piece today. I called it ''Fireplace" partly because of it's calmer nature, and because it's almost Christmas! The melody is a (purposely) very easy one in this one, as is the chord progression. In this composition I wanted to make the variation happen in the details, such as the last few chords of each cycle of the progression and small melodic changes. The string ensemble also builds up until the climax. This time I also added a synthesizer (Sakura - Cherry Blossom) to add extra depth and warmth to the mix, as I felt it added to the whole 'by the fire during winter' theme.
I used FL Studio automation (tempo and volume). Piano is Native Instruments' NOIRE Pure. Violin is a sample or vst from Alpine Project (violin long 1). String ensemble are the Cinematic Strings. Synth by Sakura (Cherry Blossom - FL Studio default/native). Cello is the Tina Guo Cello by Cinesamples. I also added atmospheric, ambient plucked piano strings in the background. Mixing & mastering with Valhalla VintageVerb, Fruity Reeverb 2, Soundgoodizer, iZotope Ozone 6 & oeksound soothe2.
