To become a joint heir with Christ requires that we keep sacred covenants. These covenants are illustrated by the lord through Abraham, Isaac and Jacob who later became Israel. The firstborn in Abrahams posterity each have the opportunity to earn the birthright, but lost it. Those that gain the birthright (who were not the firstborn) each do so by being a shining example of the very covenants we make in the temple in these latter days. This video attempts to illustrate how the Lord shows us how to keep covenants and earn our birthright so we may become joint heirs with Christ.
